Japanese Batik is one of the 3 major Japanese dyeing methods from the Nara Period.

The most ancient Japanese Batik piece is preserved in Nara Prefecture.

Roketsuzome is a traditional dyeing technique that uses the resistance of wax to prevent dye bleeds and create patterns in the fabric.
